Heidi Saarenkari

Dr Heidi Saarenkari graduated from the University of Helsinki as a vet in 2008, followed by several years in mixed, small animal and emergency practice. She moved to New Zealand in 2014 and completed a rotating intership at Massey University in 2015-16.

Heidi subsequently moved to Perth, Australia, in 2017 for ECC internship at Murdoch University, followed by a 3 year residency training program in emergency and critical care. After completing her residency she continued to work as an ECC registrar at Murdoch.

In January this year Heidi moved to The Netherlands to work in emergency and critical care section at the faculty of veterinary medicine at Utrecht University.
