Fiona Bateman

BVSc, MANZCVS, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Fiona Bateman graduated with honors from the University of Melbourne in 2005. Dr. Bateman completed her residency in Veterinary Dermatology in Brisbane and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2014.

She established a dermatology referral practice in Melbourne before heading to the USA where she was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Georgia from 2016. Dr. Bateman also worked in private practice in the Greater Atlanta area.

In June 2019, she joined the Veterinary Professional Services team at Zoetis. Dr. Bateman has published many peer-reviewed articles and has lectured extensively both in the US and internationally. Her special areas of interest include treatments for environmental allergies in dogs, otitis externa, and collagen disorders in dogs.
